Pure Privilege reward card: the only reward card I’ve ever paid for

pureprivilegeEvery time a salesperson in a store asks if I want to sign up for their card or their rewards program, I tell them “no” without even really thinking about it. It drives me crazy to constantly be propositioned to spend more money and sign up for something new that will probably put me on somebody’s mailing list. That is, except for the Pure Privilege card.

Since I regularly buy the same Aveda products, it was a no-brainer for me to spend $10 to sign-up. If you are a regular buyer of product and willing to redeem the points, it quickly pays for itself.

Here are the prizes and point levels currently available with the Pure Privilege card.

To accumulate points, you sign-up for the program and then make sure you mention your PP account and/or show your PP card when buying product. You can also earn points at salons if you go to a participating salon. I recently made the mistake of going to an Aveda salon that didn’t accept the Pure Privilege card so I spent a bunch of money without earning any points. Click here to search for Pure Privilege locations where you can sign-up as well as earn points. You can also earn points from orders placed on Aveda.com.

You accumulate 10 points per dollar spent generally unless there’s a special promotion going on. I currently have 4,300 points and since my goal is to get to that fabulous spa in Jamaica, that’s only 45,700 more to go. Being rewarded for buying Aveda products and then getting to end up here? Yes, please.
