When did you start loving Aveda products?

Maybe you remember when you started loving Aveda products. Maybe you don’t.
I can remember it distinctly.
When I’m away from home, I don’t usually travel with my own shampoos and conditioners. Products, yes. Shampoos and conditioners, no. I just use whatever is available where I’m going.
I was staying with my best friend and the shampoo and conditioner she happened to have was Aveda’s Rosemary Mint. I used this and was a little shocked at the tingly, minty feel of it but afterward could immediately tell a difference. Couldn’t believe how good my hair felt and how good the product smelled. I was hooked.
BFF has totally different hair than me and I knew that I’d have to seek out the right shampoo and conditioner for my hair but I thought if the wrong product did this well for me, the right product would have to be amazing. And it was.

Did you have a specific moment as I did? Or have you just been lucky (as my daughter has) to never have known a world without Aveda products?

In 2001, my skin changed dramatically. My scalp broke out, my face didn’t look the same. I tried several products. A friend suggested that I try a natural product…called, Aveda. I looked up a salon and from that point I was hooked. I purchased so many products that year, that during the Christmas holiday, I recieved a gift at my door from the company with several products that I purchase regularly.
